In recent centuries, the Islamic world has faced challenges such as weak political awareness, the spread of authoritarianism, the penetration of intellectual colonialism, and declining social participation among citizens. One of the fundamental solutions to overcome this situation is to focus on the political education of future generations based on the reformist ideas of Muslim intellectuals. In this regard, the ideas of Sayyid Jamal al-Din Asadabadi, as one of the most influential reformist intellectual movements in the Islamic world, possess significant potential for rethinking the foundations of political education. The main issue addressed in this study is identifying the implications of Sayyid Jamal’s reformist thought for the political education of future generations and examining how these ideas can be utilized in designing contemporary educational models. The aim of this research is to explain and infer the educational implications of the thought of Sayyid Jamal al-Din Asadabadi in the field of political education and to provide a conceptual framework for educating aware, responsible, and justice-oriented generations. This study seeks to demonstrate that his ideas are not merely related to a specific historical period, but can also serve as a theoretical foundation for reconstructing political education in contemporary Islamic societies. The research method employed in this study is qualitative, based on conceptual and inferential analysis. In this approach, the works and ideas of Sayyid Jamal al-Din Asadabadi are examined analytically, and their educational implications for educational systems and the political upbringing of future generations are subsequently extracted. Within this framework, key concepts such as awareness, ethics, social responsibility, Islamic unity, and awakening-oriented education are analyzed, and their relationship with the contemporary educational system is clarified. The findings of the study indicate that the ideas of Sayyid Jamal al-Din Asadabadi have the capacity to present a model of “awakening-oriented political education” based on three fundamental components: awareness, ethics, and action. The results also show that the educational system plays a foundational role in reproducing political awareness, institutionalizing political ethics, and cultivating a spirit of inquiry among the younger generation. Furthermore, educating citizens who are unity-oriented, responsible, and equipped with an Islamic identity and a global outlook is considered one of the most important outcomes of applying this educational model.
