With the rapid expansion of cyberspace and its prominent presence in the daily lives of families, a new form of interactions, opportunities, and threats has emerged within the context of child upbringing and the formation of a digital lifestyle. One of the most significant cultural-educational challenges in this regard is the lack of preparedness among families to properly manage this space and their inability to pass on responsible consumption patterns to their children. The main question is how the family—as the primary center of upbringing—can strengthen a culture of responsible use of cyberspace. The central research question asks: What strategies can be proposed for cultivating responsible use of cyberspace within the family, and how can these strategies contribute to the effective management of digital consumption? This question seeks to comprehensively connect educational, ethical, behavioral, and institutional dimensions while examining the strategic role of the family in this domain. The aim of the study is to present a set of practical and applicable strategies for families to institutionalize responsible digital consumption. This goal is pursued through the foundations of religious, cultural, and psychological principles, drawing on Islamic sources and educational research. The methodology is descriptive–analytical, based on documentary study and content analysis of existing scientific and religious resources in the fields of family, media, and education. The findings indicate that strategies such as embedding digital ethical values, age-appropriate media literacy education, parental role-modeling, establishing family rules, engaging in purposeful discussion about online experiences, using regulatory tools, offering alternative family activities, and interacting with cultural institutions can collectively provide a foundation for deep and effective culturalization of responsible use of cyberspace.
