The issue of children’s mental health, as one of the most fundamental educational and social concerns, is closely related to the quality of family relationships. In this regard, observing human rights within the family, as an ethical and behavioral principle, plays a decisive role in the formation of psychological security, emotional balance, and the healthy development of children’s personalities. Neglecting the mutual rights of family members, especially in parent-child interactions, can create the grounds for anxiety, psychological insecurity, and behavioral disorders in the future generation. Therefore, examining the impact of observing family human rights on the mental health of children is considered a scientific and educational necessity. The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical and based on library studies. The main objective of this study is to explain the role of observing human rights in family relationships and its effects on various dimensions of children’s mental health. The findings of the study indicate that observing family human rights has a direct impact on promoting children’s mental health. Families in which the emotional, behavioral, and verbal rights of members are respected provide a suitable environment for the development of psychological security, reduction of anxiety, emotional balance, and enhancement of children’s self-confidence. The results also show that the positive effects of observing human rights are not limited to childhood, and their psychological and social consequences are also evident in the future lives of children and in the quality of their social relationships.
