Marital life, as the central core of the family institution, is deeply influenced by the quality of emotional interactions and the way emotions are managed between spouses. In many cases, failure to regulate emotions, weakness in expressing affection, and inability to control anger and resentment lead to reduced marital satisfaction and increased conflicts. The main issue of this study is to examine the role of women in emotional management within the family environment and how such management can affect the quality and stability of marital life. The aim of this research is to explain the concept of emotional management within the framework of the Islamic lifestyle and to investigate its effects on the foundation of the family. Focusing on the emotional role of women in the family, this study seeks to analyze examples of emotional management in areas such as expressing affection, empathy, anger control, and responses to conflicts, and to clarify their impact on marital satisfaction, intimacy, and family stability. The research method used in this article is descriptive-analytical and based on library studies. The findings indicate that thoughtful emotional management—especially by women as the emotional محور (axis/core) of the family—strengthens emotional bonds between spouses, increases marital satisfaction, reduces conflicts, and contributes to the formation of healthy emotional patterns in children. In contrast, weakness in regulating negative emotions creates grounds for emotional exhaustion and the weakening of the family foundation. Accordingly, emotional management can be regarded as one of the strategic factors in the stability and health of marital life.
